2023 Ram 1500 Limited Elite: Even More Luxury Than Before

A new Ram 1500the Limited Elite, which will be at the top of the 1500 line in terms of luxury, will be offered in Canada and elsewhere in America starting in October 2022.

This ultra-luxury pickup, which will only be offered in a crew cab version with the V8 5.7-liter HEMI engine and the assistance of a mild hybridization system, has a staggering price of $94,815 after freight and delivery charges. In terms of price, that puts it just below the GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate which retails for $98,163.

More luxurious than ever

The Limited Elite will offer Ram’s multifunctional tailgate that has been found for other trim levels for a few years now. An automated step and a bed separator will also be offered as standard. Otherwise, the cabin is full of luxurious accessories, including a rotary gear selector adorned with jewel-like pieces or even 12-point adjustable leather seats.

A 19-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system is also present in the cabin. Based on the advertised level of equipment and the slight additions that enhance the look of the cabin, the pickup doesn’t seem to be as fancy as the more expensive GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate. However, we will still have to wait for its official unveiling before we know for sure.

Indeed, Ram has not yet unveiled images for this new version of the 1500 pickup truck; we know, however, that this Limited Elite version will be based on the 10th Anniversary Edition of the Ram 1500 which was marketed for the 2022 model year. We can therefore expect to find many elements of the 10th Anniversary Edition.

Technology at the rendezvous

Ram also announced updates for its entire 2023 1500 pickup line. The RED Edition option package returns for the Limited trim, with red badging in honor of (RED), an organization that raises funds on behalf of the Global Fund for global health emergencies.

Otherwise, a UV-C light placed in the glove box that kills bacteria on objects is also included in the (RED) edition.

Then, a 12-inch screen that acts as an instrument panel is now located behind the steering wheel, and all trim levels now feature a rear seat reminder and an LED hitch light. 22-inch all-terrain tires are offered with off-road packages; and the 1500 Rebel includes Selec-Speed cruise control for off-road riding.

Complementing this is a new Uconnect 5 infotainment system rolling out across all Stellantis brands, featuring faster processing speeds, new personalization features, built-in Amazon Alexa and Fire TV, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual simultaneous Bluetooth telephone connectivity, improved voice recognition, improved navigation guidance, real-time updates and a front passenger display.
