Honda will unveil the 11e and any new generation of its mid-size Accord sedan in a context, it goes without saying, rather unfavorable for its segment.
Never mind, there is still a market for these sedans and the Japanese brand intends to be present there. A couple of tightly cropped leaked images show a similar styling approach to the recently revamped CR-V compact SUV.
Interestingly for technology enthusiasts, the model will offer the integration of Google applications directly into the infotainment system, a first for Honda. Its touch screen will also be the largest ever offered by Honda (12.3 in).
The car should also logically feature the same 1.5 L turbocharged four-cylinder used in the CR-V, in addition probably to a supercharged 2 L engine for the sportier versions and a hybrid livery. See you in a few weeks.
