VinFast opens its first store in Quebec

The young Vietnamese manufacturer VinFast recently inaugurated its very first store on Quebec soil, located at Carrefour Laval.

Inspired by Tesla on the thing, VinFast intends to sell its vehicles directly to its customers without the intermediary of dealers. Other brands are considering doing the same through their websites.

For the moment, the Vietnamese manufacturer is preparing the arrival of two models, the VF 8 compact SUV and the VF 9 intermediate SUV. hp and 402 depending on the liveries. Its starting price is set at $54,990. The VF 9 can travel between 423 km and 594 km (European measurement cycle) and is considerably more expensive at $103,790 as a starting bill. It has 402 hp to move. Note that both models have standard dual-motor configurations for all-wheel drive.

The VinFast store located in Laval is the second to open in the country after the one in Toronto. We are aiming to open six other locations by the end of the year in Canada to support the arrival of the first VF 8s. The VF 9s ordered should arrive in the country in early 2023, it is said.
