The Honda Prelude will return in 2025
Japanese manufacturer Honda recently confirmed its intention to revive one of the most iconic sports cars in its history, the Prelude.
The coupe, which still makes nostalgic enthusiasts dream of the register, will return to the Canadian market in 2025 after a 24-year break.
Instead of the 2.2 L H22 four-cylinder of the time, this sixth generation will feature a hybrid powertrain whose technical specifications are still kept under seal.
Honda specifies that it will use the configuration of the two electric motors which tows, among others, the Accord and Civic hybrid. We therefore expect to see a 2.0L four-cylinder engine under the hood, possibly with a little more power to spice things up. The manufacturer claims that a manual gear change function will be introduced for driving pleasure.
Moreover, note the packaging of the very interesting coupe style study with rather consensual lines which allows us to look away from the horde of SUVs which populate our road arteries.
