Lexus to present the LX 2022 soon

Toyota and Lexus quietly unveil the next generation of their full-size pickup trucks and SUVs. We first saw the Toyota land cruiser, which will not be marketed with us. Inevitably, the luxury version of this SUV which is sold here under the name Lexus LX, will be unveiled soon.

the Lexus LX badly needed again. Remember that the model has been technically unchanged for more than a decade. We can’t wait for the arrival of a new generation of the model to compete with the Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the Land Rover Range Rover. Nothing has yet been said about the Lexus GX, the LX’s little brother, however. It could be completely withdrawn from the range in order to leave more room for its colleague.

In all likelihood, the next Lexus LX will also be powered by the new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that powers the Land Cruiser and which, according to our sources, is also likely to end up under the hood of the next Toyota Tundra. Lexus has also registered the LX600 nomenclature to go with this engine.

However, unlike the current LX570 which uses a 5.7-liter V8 engine, the LX600 will offer the twin-turbo V6 with 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. This engine will be mated to an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission.

Of course, the Lexus LX will be much more luxurious than a Toyota Land Cruiser, while keeping its off-road skills intact. A hybrid version could even be added along the way. This could be driven by Toyota’s iForce Max engine if we believe the rumor that has been circulating online for a few weeks.

However, we will have to be patient before we see the appearance of the next generation of the Lexus LX, because Toyota will prioritize the Tundra in the first place, which should be officially unveiled in the coming weeks. the Lexus LX 2022 will likely go in the fall, for marketing in the middle of next year.
