Mazda is not planning an all-wheel drive version at this time. The engine will be paired with a set of 35.5 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion batteries, which will give it a range of 161 kilometers according to the manufacturer’s initial tests, a figure well below what we find nowadays on the side. competition.

Mazda still wants the MX-30 to stand out with greater driving pleasure than other electric vehicles. The battery pack is mounted under the floor in a flat, modular arrangement, favoring the lower center of gravity.

The 2022 Mazda MX-30 also receives the new Electric Vector Control-G Plus (e-GVC Plus) system as standard, which makes real-time electric motor torque adjustments to control vehicle load and provide natural and constant handling.
