$2,500 credit to modify your 2023 Ford Bronco order

While the automotive industry is still suffering the repercussions of the pandemic, the situation is slow to regain some normality. Although we are seeing a return of certain models offered for immediate delivery, the waiting times for certain very popular vehicles continue to be several months and even a year or more. For its part, Ford is providing a solution for American customers who have an order for 2023 Ford Broncowith a credit of $2,500.

When Ford revived the legendary Bronco name with the announcement of the model’s return to the market, it was enough to see the manufacturer’s order book fill up visibly. The manufacturer currently finds itself with demand that exceeds production capacity.

A solution to unclog the chain

Currently, the Ford Bronco seems to be facing some equipment restrictions. Before the pandemic, this kind of situation could happen, which occasionally meant that a vehicle could not be ordered in a certain configuration or with a certain wheel model, for example. However, this situation only lasted a few weeks at most. On the other hand, with the pandemic, this problem now stretches over several months. It is for this reason that Ford would have sent an incentive newsletter to American dealers for the attention of customers who have an order for a Ford Bronco 2023 which has not yet been produced, according to the information raised by several American automotive websites.

In this letter, it would be mentioned that customers have 4 choices available to them between now and April 3. They can first upgrade to another vehicle such as the Escape, Bronco Sport, Edge, Explorer, Expedition, Ranger or F-150, while receiving a $2,500 discount . Then, they can modify their orders by removing certain equipment that is in limited availability for the remainder of 2023, such as the Sasquatch package and the molded color painted roof, in order to benefit from the applicable credit of $2,500. Then they can either simply cancel the order and get the $100 deposit back or reschedule the order and replace it with a 2024 model.

This measure proposed by Ford would aim to unclog the waiting list and relieve the order catalog which is currently full in the United States. It remains to be seen whether the situation will remain the same in 2024 for a 3e consecutive year.

Will Canada also be entitled to this measure?

At the time of this writing, this measure is not offered on our side of the border. We asked Ford Canada the question, to find out if this solution would be considered for our market as well. The Canadian subsidiary did not want to comment on the matter, only responding that they would work hard to deliver all reservations and orders for the 2023 Ford Bronco to the many Canadian customers.

We can therefore deduce that future Canadian owners of Ford Bronco 2023 will have in their entry the model that they have selected during the year 2023.
