Arese RH95 2022, another masterpiece from Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera returns just in time for the start of summer with a brand new creation, the Arese RH95. A mid-engined exotic most certainly based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
Few of the cars built by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera which are not masterpieces. The all new Arese HR95 is certainly one of the most beautiful pieces of the last years of the small Italian coachbuilder.
Only 18 units will be built; the first is the one we see in pictures with its pino green and two-tone leather interior. The second will adopt red and white accents to recall the legendary Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA produced from 1965 to 1975. The third is also announced with other colors very well known in the automotive world, particularly cars Gulf sport, the famous combination of pale blue and orange.
In terms of design, the Arese HR95 adopts a unique silhouette for the manufacturer. As its engine adopts a rear central position, the proportions are more balanced from front to rear. As always with Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, there are a host of details that catch the eye.
Up front, the grille configuration takes its inspiration from the 2020 AERO 3. Another nod, the thin satin aluminum line in the scissor door is a reminder of the no less legendary Disco Volante of 2013 Of course, the whole body is made of carbon fiber.
The director of the Bodybuilder Design Center, Louis de Fabribeckers, describes his work: “The Arese RH95 reflects the stylistic elements of the entire AERO range with its many distinctive elements; its cinematic openings to the exterior panels add a theatrical aspect to a car that is both art and design in motion. “
Touring doesn’t cut corners when it comes to the air supply to the engine. On the roof, there is a dorsal air intake accentuated in yellow to highlight it. At the rear fenders, the openings direct the flow of air directly into the V8.
Even if Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera does not officially confirm it, one very strongly suspects that the basis of the design of the Arese RH95 rests on the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
Too many things point the Arese RH95 in this direction: the shape of the windshield and the cabin, the roof line, the configuration of the dashboard and, above all, the identical V8 data.
In this case, we are talking about a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 that develops an output of 710 horsepower and produces a torque of 568 pound-feet. Everything goes directly to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The Ferrari can complete the 0 to 100 km / hour in 3 seconds, the Arese may be in these same waters.
For the moment, we do not know the price of this latest creation from the Italian coachbuilder. All the conditions are met for it to be totally overpriced.
