Audi | Towards an Enfuhable hybrid R8

Sealed a year ago by the assembly of his latest copy, the abandonment of the Audi R8 may well be only a Cesure of a few years. At least that's what British magazine advances Coach, Who claims that the German manufacturer's sporting holder of the German manufacturer could return in 2027 in rechargeable hybrid configuration.

To do this, the supervision which was the pride of the brand to the rings from 2006 to 2024 will resume the recipe for the original model by sharing a number of components with Lamborghini. Instead of the V10 which beat the shades in the back, we could therefore find the heart of the brand new Temerario, a replacement for the Huracán. This 4 l -flat twin -turbo V8 with flat manetons capable of a rotation speed of 10,000 rpm produces 789 hp. Electric support increases total power to 907 hp by means of three electric motors, one supporting the V8 and the other two bolted at the front axle.

It remains to be seen whether this new R8 will be entitled to a power treatment as princely as that of its Italian cousin. Never mind, such a avenue would mean a change of philosophy for this German supervision which has always been driven by atmospheric mechanics. Galloping rumors have also long pointed out to a completely electric turn for the R8. If the project is that, it will be very interesting to note the technical differences between the two models.
