In order to ensure a little more exclusivity to its two mid-size SUVs – either the X5 and X6 – Bmw offers a very limited edition for 2022: Black Vermilion. Barely 50 copies of each model are destined for the Canadian market.
Based on the BMW xDrive40i versions of these models, the Black Vermilion emphasizes above all an aesthetic signature mainly composed of black and red.
All Black Vermilion models have their body painted in “Frozen” matte black; as for the kidney grid, it is painted red. Black BMW Lazer headlights and 22-inch wheels exclusive to this version – painted in matt gray – complement the exterior aesthetics of these SUVs.
The interior of these special editions also receives a few notable exclusives, including the Black Vermilion badge affixed to the center console, a dark glass gear lever, black carpets with red stripes and red patterns on the seats. In addition, the M Sport and Premium packages come standard for these rare editions. They add, among other things, an adaptive suspension, more efficient brakes with calipers painted in red, a performance exhaust system and a dashboard covered in nappa leather.
The 2022 BMW X5 and X6 Black Vermilion were available to order at the time of this writing, priced at $ 99,990 for the X5 and $ 103,990 for the X6.
