Cadillac | A light brush for the CT5
As there’s more to life than just SUVs, Cadillac’s CT5 mid-size sedan made its first public outing last week. This slight update comes as the model is on the rise, racking up record sales in several global markets, including the United States and China.
Most of the work focused on the aesthetic aspect of the object. The headlights still featuring cascading diodes have been redesigned, the grille has been widened and the shield has a little more texture. The Sport livery is inspired by the CT5-V Blackwing with a mesh grille.
The interior is not left out with the integration of the latest version of the manufacturer’s multimedia system. Like the Lyriq, it features a large 33-inch trapezoid touch screen offering 9K definition.
Mechanically, the same two engines are offered, a 2.0L four-cylinder (237 hp) and a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 (335 hp). As is currently the case, the buyer will be able to choose between a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configuration. Cadillac says the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing versions will return and be revealed at a later date. Production of the Cadillac CT5 will begin in spring 2024.
