Polestar 2 raises prices slightly for 2024 in exchange for more range

Volvo’s electric sports brand, Polestar, opened the pricing notebook for its Polestar 2 model last week to wrap up the major update slated for 2024.

The entry-level version, now rear-wheel-drive, will now be priced at $54,950, an increase of $1,000 in exchange for a significant gain in range, estimated at 515 km. Its standard engine also gains 68 hp for a count of 299 hp. It therefore becomes much more attractive.

The all-wheel-drive version with two motors sees its starting price jump by $4,000 ($62,950) in exchange for about 30 km more range (444 km) and an increased power of 13 hp (421 ch).

Note that both liveries are eligible for full federal and provincial incentives.
