End of the road for the Bugatti Centodieci

With a production of only 10 copies, we suspected that the Bugatti Centodieci would be assembled quickly. The first left Molsheim in June, the last in December.

Bugatti’s craftsmen have certainly worked very hard to conclude the production of the Centodieci before the end of 2022. For a question of value, all the cars had to be assembled in 2022. If only one had been produced in 2023, this would have given it a unique character that would have made it even more valuable than the other 9 Centodieci.

Thus the very last Centodieci of 10 left the workshops of Bugatti in Molsheim, in France. Like the concept vehicle unveiled in 2019, this ultimate Centodieci adopts quartz white with contrasting black accents for its bodywork, while the cabin is entirely covered in French blue (French Blue) specific to the history of French motor racing.

Bolide tribute to the legendary EB110, the Centodieci, for 110 in Italian, takes up several style elements from its ancestor, such as the layout of the smaller radiator grille or, even, the 5 circles in the rear quarter panel. For everything else, the Centodieci adopts features and bodywork that are exclusive to it. Inside, we fully find the presentation of a regular Chiron with the exception of minor details such as the 110EB embroidery on the walls of the console. Of course, like all Centodieci, it comes with a plate on the door sill which indicates its position from 1 to 10. Here, it is naturally 10/10.

Technically, the Centodieci had no distinguishing elements compared to other models. In this case, it is the most powerful version of the 8-litre W16 with 4 turbochargers that is selected. By the count, we get a cavalry of 1,578 horsepower which makes it one of the most powerful cars of all time.

After the Divo’s production ended in 2021, it’s now the Centodieci’s turn to enter the brand’s history books. Bugatti has already announced that all the Chiron have found takers. The same is true of the 40 copies of the “Bolide” for exclusive use on the track. In the case of the Mistral, the last of the line, despite its unveiling earlier this summer, all 99 units have been sold. Interesting fact about the Mistralit is the only convertible version produced on the basis of the Chiron.
