Bentley Bentayga, Lamborghini Urus, Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The world of great luxury has offered us in recent years proposals that we would have considered improbable barely a decade ago. It was enough for Ferrari to enter the dance. Here is his interpretation that arrived late and unveiled last week, the Purosangue.
A bit like the FF a little over 10 years ago, the Purosangue is involved in the mission in its own way, by appropriating its own stylistic codes. We could therefore analyze it from a crossover angle with its curves, curved shapes and long front hood that invariably recalls the grand touring coupes of the illustrious manufacturer.
A twelve-cylinder, for tradition
A little as if Ferrari was going there backwards, the Italian manufacturer chose to implement its incomparable 6.5 L atmospheric V12 also used by the 812 Superfast. In this case, maximum power is 715 hp, working in concert with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive shared with the GT4C Lusso. 0-100 km/h is just a matter of 3.3 seconds.
A sacrilege or an inevitable evolution? We let you judge.
