Fisker Ocean 2023 suddenly jumps to 536 horsepower

The Ocean of Fisker is another SUV that is getting a lot of attention. History of diversifying its catalog, the manufacturer already announces an increase of 302 to 536 horses.

This news is announced by the founder himself, Henrik fisker, through his Twitter account. He says loud and clear that the Ocean will be offered with two electric motors totaling 400 kilowatts (536 horsepower). Naturally, due to this configuration, all-wheel drive will be standard.

It is not particularly clear in Fisker’s virtual statement that this is a new version or that it is simply a power increase of the originally planned powertrain. In the first announcements from Fisker, we were talking about 302 horsepower.

It is also not known whether the battery, estimated at around 80 kilowatt hours, will always have the same capacity and whether it retains its constitution. One thing is certain, Fisker abandoned the idea of continuing his research into solid-state batteries a few years ago. To make us wait a little longer, Fisker maintains that he will unveil the full technical characteristics of the Ocean next November.

The Ocean will be built in the Austrian workshops of Canadian giant Magna headquartered in Aurora, Ontario. At the same time, it is interesting to remember that Magna owns 6% of the shares of Fisker Inc.
