Jaguar to discontinue all but one model
Jaguar's lineup will soon be reduced to just one model. The British manufacturer has confirmed to specialist media that it will cease production of all its models this year, except for the F-Pace compact SUV.
So, after the XE, XF and F-Type which have not been produced since June, it will now be the turn of the E-Pace and I-Pace crossovers to suffer the same fate in December, according to information obtained by the magazine. Top Gear.
The lineup overhaul is part of a total restructuring of the manufacturer to focus on more luxurious segments. “We are eliminating five products, all of which are lower value,” parent company JLR CEO Adrian Mardell told investors, according to Automotive News Europe.
Jaguar is also preparing to market an electric “grand touring” saloon in 2025 based on a new architecture called JEA, with an estimated range of 700 km, probably in the European measurement cycle.
