Jay Leno badly burned in the face

Jay Leno, this famous American comedian, ex-host of the show Tonight Show and host of the YouTube series Jay Leno’s Garage, is currently resting at the Grossman Burn Center in Los Angeles following an accident involving one of his cars. He allegedly burned his face badly.

At this point, very little information has been released about the nature of the fire and Mr. Leno’s current condition. The 72-year-old actor, however, reportedly announced through his press officers that he is “ok” and that he will need a few weeks to recover from his “serious burns”.

What we understand is that a car suddenly caught fire, fueled by gasoline, while Jay Leno was working on it, and this, inside his garage which has some 200 exceptional models. The spontaneous flame would have thrown itself on his face, inflicting good burns on his left side, without however reaching his eye or his ear.

Jay Leno is well known and respected in the automotive world. After retiring from the Tonight Show he hosted for 17 years, Mr. Leno retrained through his YouTube channel named Jay Leno’s Garage where he presents, every week, an old or new car live from his garage. His channel, which uses a very relaxed approach, is nonetheless fascinating because of the rarity of the vehicles presented, not to mention the essential charisma of the man in question. Today, his channel has no less than 3,430,000 subscribers, and some of his videos exceed 2 million views. We wish Jay Leno a speedy recovery.
