Porsche lifts the veil on the most powerful Cayenne yet
At Porsche, the power argument is hybrid for the Cayenne, while the Turbo livery of its protégé receives a significant mechanical revision. Be careful, it’s confusing.
Still taking a 4L twin-turbo V8 as a basis, this Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid extracts 591 hp alone. As the one-upmanship is in order, the engineers added a 174 hp electric motor, increasing the combined power to 729 hp and the total torque to 700 lb-ft. 0-100 km/h is achieved in 3.7 seconds.
This Cayenne uses a 25.9 kWh battery, which ensures an electric range not yet specified. However, it should be higher than the meager 24 km of the previous generation which was equipped with a 17.9 kWh battery.
On sale from the second quarter of 2024 in exchange for the tidy sum of $171,200 for the SUV body and $176,300 for the coupe line.
