Subtle update to the 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio
For model year 2024, Alfa Romeo makes some subtle changes to its sports sedan, the Julia and its compact SUV, the Stelvio. However, only a keen eye will be able to spot the improvements, as Alfa Romeo has gone out of its way not to spoil the design of these models. They are always absolutely gorgeous.
It is actually a mid-term update that mainly affects the front and rear parts, body colors and the interior.
The most noticeable visual element are the new LED headlights with active matrix technology that Alfa Romeo calls 3+3. It is, in fact, three separate headlights inside the same optical unit. Alfa Romeo also says it has slightly tweaked the grille and the lower part of the bumper using a black finish.
In short, there is no more chrome, and the air intakes of the bumper have a slightly more angular shape than before. At the rear, it is especially the smoked LED lights that are the most noticeable change.
Both the Giulia and the Stelvio inherit improvements in terms of their interior, new finishing materials and new color schemes, in particular. New technologies are also included, such as fully digital instrumentation with a 12.3-inch display. Alfa takes the opportunity to make some improvements to the multimedia system, a more efficient graphics processor, some changes to the menu and the ability to update remotely, in particular.
But the real big news is the addition of the NFT certificate like what the Tonale will offer. This certificate will allow the user to authenticate the vehicle’s history, mileage and insurance claims to ensure better resale value in the market. It will be interesting to see how this technology will work in favor of Alfa Romeo products which, let us remember, are not known to hold their value well on the market!
Alfa Romeo Canada has not yet announced the prices, the variations, nor the dates of arrival in concession of the Giulia and Stelvio 2024. This information will follow a little later on the calendar.
