The Model 3 “Highland”

Regarding of the camouflaged prototype of the Model 3 seen on the road by a surfer, it would be a first copy of Tesla’s famous Highland project, that of reviewing its assembly methods in order to be even more profitable, while improving the quality of its products. According to Tesla, its new car construction methods will allow it to rectify several finish problems, a major flaw for its popular compact car and SUV, the Model Y. This method would also allow the manufacturer to sell its vehicles to much more competitive prices.

The images of the camouflaged concept do not reveal much, because Tesla has purposely hidden the front and rear parts of the model. In all likelihood, new headlights and lights will be included, as well as redesigned bumpers. The rest of the changes will mainly affect the weight of the car and its energy efficiency. Tesla could also take the opportunity to review some elements of the cabin, particularly in terms of finish and on-board technology.
