The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is priced at $73,998
Baptized C8, for the close friends, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray of the latest generation represented quite a change for the brand. With highly exotic lines, the racing car adopted a mid-engine for the first time while maintaining its affordable sports car philosophy. Victim of its own success and reduced production due to the shortage of electronic chips, demand has far exceeded supply to the point that several owners are still waiting for their copy.
As production of 2022 models continues, the automaker has just announced pricing for the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The model will retail for a base price of $73,998 including freight and delivery charges. It will be necessary to add $250 in dealer fees as well as $100 for the air conditioning tax.
This is therefore a minimal increase compared to 2022, when the basic livery was marketed at the base price of $73,298 including all costs. In 2021, it was displayed at $71,748 (including freight and preparation costs). Given the rarity and high demand for the vehicle, we would have expected a more marked increase.
For 2023, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray gets a choice of three new optional 20-inch wheels, including matte black, priced at $1,295. Performance enthusiasts can opt for a new sports exhaust with black finish tips.
A 70th anniversary set is also available for 2023 for $7,995; it requires the 3LT version and notably includes a choice of two exclusive body colors, distinctive rims, Competition or GT2 sports seats and red inserts in the steering wheel, seats and seat belts. A commemorative plaque will be added inside, it will remind you of the 70th anniversary of a legendary model.
The year 2023 will also mark the arrival of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 ; the racing car will also be offered in a 70th anniversary edition. GM’s new car should arrive this fall with a new engine, a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 developing 670 horsepower and producing 460 lb-ft of torque. The only transmission offered will be an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic.
