The Audi A3 has been on the Canadian market since 2006. Since then, it has evolved over the generations. The presentation of the 2025 model, which was aimed at the European market a little earlier this week, allows us to see the changes that could cross the ocean and come to us. L’A3 2025 remains easily recognizable, according to the first images, and only keen observers will be able to detect the differences. However, Audi announces the arrival of a new version called allstreet which offers a more adventurous look.

A light aesthetic refresh
According to the first images published by the German manufacturer, the 2025 Audi A3 remains easily recognizable. The body lines remain very similar. We note, however, that the front and rear bumpers have been completely reworked, while the grille features an Audi emblem located a little higher. Moreover, this emblem goes so far as to extend slightly outside the upper part of the grille. The headlights would also feature a new LED light signature offering up to 4 selectable daytime running light signatures.
As for the passenger compartment, the dashboard remains very similar. However, it is possible to note that the steering wheel incorporates a new presentation, as does the lower central section of the console which presents a revised gear selector.
Allstreet version with a more adventurous look
Like the Audi A4 allroad, the new allstreet version adds design elements that give the car a more adventurous design. From the outset, the latter presents itself with wheel rims as well as lower bumpers which incorporate black plastic appliques. In addition, silver appliques are placed on the bumpers, which adds a distinctive design element.
According to Audi, the combination of the recalibrated and raised suspension, combined with larger wheels, allows the Audi A3 allstreet to obtain an additional ground clearance of 30 millimeters, compared to a standard version.
Subscription functions in Europe
The 2025 range of the Audi A3 on the European market is also intended to be more techno. Many of these new features are found in the infotainment system. Other new features would include, among others, adaptive cruise control, high beam assistance and the possibility of extending the standard air conditioning system with two-zone comfort air conditioning, according to Audi. However, what is most surprising is the fact that these functions could be offered permanently in the car or for a period of 1 to 3 years, through a subscription. It is surprising to see the manufacturer going this route, when the addition of subscription features is not unanimously accepted by consumers in the automotive world.
What about Canada?
According to the manufacturer’s press release, it is currently only a question of the European market. However, as is often the case with Audi, the aesthetic changes made to the 2025 A3 could well follow in Canada, at least for the sedan. As for the other versions alongside the latter, such as the allstreet version, nothing is yet certain about its arrival here. Remember that the Canadian market is currently only entitled to the sedan version of the A3.
