The Escape gets a makeover for 2023

Ford introduced a partially redesigned Ford Escape last week for a mid-cycle refresh to help the SUV keep pace.

The most popular model in the manufacturer’s range after the essential F-Series, the Escape now features more slender headlights and a less imposing grille. The whole is capped with a line of horizontal diodes.

The changes in the cabin are also quite noticeable visually. A large horizontal screen makes its arrival, as well as a digital instrumentation block.

The SUV remains offered with a 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder (180 hp) in addition to a 2L turbocharged four-cylinder (250 hp). A hybrid livery is part of the options sheet, consisting of a 2.5L four-cylinder coupled to all-wheel drive. The plug-in livery of this group is however offered only with two-wheel drive, but advances 60 km of electric autonomy.

On sale from the beginning of 2023.
