The Genesis G80 2025 gets a 27-inch screen

If we consider that the sedan Genesis G80 is the sister of the GV80, it is not surprising that the Genesis manufacturer would make similar modifications to the sedan. The unveiling of the car is done without fanfare. For the G80, Genesis is content to make a presentation in 4 images.

Following the initial approach to the design of the G80, we notice that the front of the sedan opts for softer features while maintaining the large 5-point grille. According to Genesis, it is the embodiment of the styling theme of “athletic elegance”. In addition to its revised front end, the sedan offers new 20-inch rims which are the interpretation of the propellers of an airplane,” according to the press release. At the rear, we notice that the exhaust pipes are now “hidden”, and a palette of ten colors is offered for the bodywork.

What is most striking about the Genesis G80 2025 is undoubtedly the integration of a 27-inch OLED technology screen. The instrumentation remains at 12.3 inches, while the monitor for the multimedia system is 14.5 inches. In this operation, the ergonomics and graphic design of the different tables are reviewed.

Taking advantage of the change of screen, the dashboard is redesigned and adopts simpler and purer lines. The presentation is much less busy than before. Genesis introduces a new steering wheel. On the console, the control dials for the multimedia system and the gearbox also have a new design approach.
