The Land Cruiser is making a comeback and will be unveiled on Tuesday

After a long hiatus of 27 years, Toyota Canada will bring its next Land Cruiser to the Canadian market. The information was confirmed through a photo of the muzzle of this newcomer superimposed on that of his illustrious ancestor.

Absent from Canada since 1996 and incidentally from the American market since 2021, the legendary fighter will be completely revised. Its first release is scheduled for 1er august.

For the moment, nothing has leaked on the formula used by Toyota. The recently unveiled new Lexus GX – a close cousin – gives us some hints of the general approach, though. It should logically have the same ladder chassis as the latter, just like the same twin-turbo 3.4L V6.

Judging by the published snapshot, its design should be a variation of the Lexus design, which goes back to basics with a cubic proposal. We will have the answers to our questions very soon.
