The last Chrysler 300C rolls off the assembly line
At the house of Stellantis, the electrification of the range brings big changes. This involves the disappearance of certain models whose Chrysler 300. This nameplate was initially introduced in 1955 and then reborn in 2005.
However, as it ages on the market, the Chrysler 300 will bow out at the end of the 2023 model year. The beginning of the end has moreover made more felt with the last 300C which left the assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, last Friday, December 8.

We learned this weekend, through a press release from Stellantis, that the very last 2023 Chrysler 300C left the manufacturer’s assembly line on Friday, December 8, 2023. The latter sports a paint called velvet red.
It should be remembered that the 300C version made a return in 2023, after two years of absence from the 300 range. Its production was limited to 2,000 examples for the United States market and 200 for the Canadian market.
For the rest of the 300 range, production will end by December 31, 2023, according to information received from the manufacturer. A page of history will be turned at Chrysler on a name initially introduced in 1955. Historically, 2005 marked the return of the nameplate with rear-wheel drive and a HEMI engine under the hood of a more efficient version.
The most efficient of the lot
For Chrysler, the 2023 300C was the most efficient version of the 300 range and crowned the end of this model. Powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that develops 485 horsepower and produces 475 pound-feet of torque, it is the most efficient livery in recent years.
Additionally, the 2023 Chrysler 300C includes Brembo-branded 4-piston red brake calipers, a limited-slip differential with a 3.09:1 axle ratio, an active suspension and an active exhaust system. . In visual terms, the performance sedan adds some black accents and a tri-color 300C badge that pay homage to the 1957 model.
At this time, Stellantis does not appear to be reusing the 300 nameplate for a new electric model as the manufacturer plans to do with the Challenger. We will therefore not see this name again, at least in the short term. The Chrysler brand will launch its first electric vehicle in 2025 and intends to offer only an electric vehicle range in 2028.
