The new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will start at $ 43,798

Introduced in 1985, the Nissan Pathfinder is one of the pioneers among mid-size SUVs. It has long been a flagship model for Nissan, and 2022 will mark the arrival of the 5e model generation. A few weeks before its arrival in showrooms, Nissan has just unveiled the prices.

the Nissan Pathfinder 2022 will have the difficult task of competing with several models of choice among the mid-size SUVs with 3 rows of seats. The list includes the Subaru Ascent, Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride among others.

We will therefore be entitled to 5 versions of the Nissan Pathfinder 2022, all offering all-wheel drive as standard. Here are the prices of the Nissan Pathfinder 2022:

– Nissan Pathfinder S 4WD – $ 43,798

– Nissan Pathfinder SV 4WD – $ 46,798

– Nissan Pathfinder SL 4WD – $ 50,398

– Nissan Pathfinder SL Premium 4WD – $ 52,198

– Nissan Pathfinder Platinum 4WD – $ 54,398

The vehicle, which will arrive in dealerships in mid-summer, is based on the same platform as its predecessor, it also retains the same mechanics. Nissan has renewed the 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 284 horsepower and produces 259 pound-feet of torque. Nissan decided to leave the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) aside and go for a new 9-speed automatic transmission that would deliver smoother smoothness and, above all, a more engaging driving experience.

Another advantage of this new gearbox is that the vehicle has an increased towing capacity of 2,721 kilos (6,000 pounds), which is higher than what many competitors offer. The model will also benefit from a new intelligent 4-wheel drive system with 7-position Drive or Terrain mode selector.

With its redesigned design and more typical SUV shapes, the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder will offer more space on board. The total cargo space is reduced from 2,251 to 2,421 liters, increasing its practicality and allowing it to compare with its main competitors.

The RPM team will soon have the chance to test drive the new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder and give you their thoughts.
