The range of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is better than expected

the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is the most efficient version of the model, offering an output of 480 horsepower and a torque of 634 pound-feet. This allows him to complete the 0-100 km / hour sprint in just 3.7 seconds. Admittedly, priced at $ 82,995 (before freight and delivery charges), it doesn’t come cheap, but it promises to be a strong contender in the world. Tesla Model Y Performance. Now its electric autonomy is even better than what was originally announced.

When Ford unveiled the GT declination, the automaker estimated that the EPA would give it a rating of 378 kilometers on a full charge. Recall that the GT is powered by a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 88 kilowatt hours. It powers two electric motors positioned on the front and rear axles.

The EPA has just put the Mach-E GT under test, and it proves to be more efficient in terms of range than what Ford had originally announced. Indeed, this high performance version can travel up to 418 kilometers in ideal conditions. Remember that the EPA takes into consideration the climatic conditions specific to North American realities, which explains why its projections are often lower than those of the WLTP in Europe.
