We now know the Canadian price range for the 2024 Ford Ranger

Last May, Ford was carrying out the North American launch of the new generation Ford Ranger. However, one important detail was missing at this time, and that was the Canadian price range. This is now a thing of the past since the manufacturer recently updated its online vehicle configurator, which highlights the price of each version of Ford’s mid-size pickup truck.

A new price range

Ford opts for a variation of versions very similar to the previous generation. In fact, the XL, XLT and LARIAT versions are still offered within the range. However, a little news for the North American market has arrived, and it is the Raptor version which sits at the top of the range of the Ranger 2024. On paper, this new generation has a higher starting price than that of 2023. However, it is important to note that the cabin offered from the outset is now the SuperCrew rather than the double cabin which offered less space inside. rear, during the previous generation. The entry price for access to the larger cabin is therefore lower in 2024, but it should be noted that, for the same version, the price is increased by several thousand dollars, as shown in the table following. Please note that all following prices include the manufacturer’s transport and preparation costs.

Releases Price — Model year 2023 Price — Model year 2024
XL Double Cab Long Box $40,675 Model not offered in 2024
XLT Double Cab Long Box $42,610 Model not offered in 2024
XL SuperCrew Short Bed Model not offered in 2023 $43,450
XLT SuperCrew Cab Short Box $44,410 $47,000
LARIAT SuperCrew Cab and Short Box $48,960 $55,900
Short-Bed SuperCrew Cab Raptor Model not offered in 2023 $80,000

An increased level of equipment

When we take a closer look at the Ford Canada configurator, we can see that the level of standard equipment has been increased. Indeed, the 2024 Ford Ranger now comes standard with 8-inch digital instrumentation display in front of the driver and a 10-inch screen for the infotainment system. Additionally, as an additional example, the XL trim comes standard with the STX Appearance Package, while the XLT and LARIAT trims include the Sport Appearance Package as standard.

A rather expensive Raptor version

Even though the Ranger Raptor is almost $27,000 less expensive than a Ford F-150 Raptor, the fact remains that $80,000 is still a significant amount for a mid-size pickup truck. Its only positive point is that this performance version comes fully equipped and does not require the addition of additional option packages. The only variations in price may therefore come solely from the choice of paint color or the original accessories that a buyer would like to add.

Initially announced for release at the end of summer 2023, the 2024 Ford Ranger has still not arrived on the Canadian market. However, its appearance on the Ford Canada configurator announces an arrival very soon.
